Mining operations at the lake have recently ceased, and fishing was not previously allowed. As a result, the fish have grown to massive sizes in undisturbed conditions.

The lake holds a significant number of carp over 20 kg, including stunning Spanish-patterned carp that will delight visiting anglers.
